You may know the various face types and the guidelines for 'ideal' eyebrow shapes for each face type. In this series of articles we shall review eyebrow shape guidelines for each face type and then see how these guidelines are being used by the leading ladies of Bollywood.
In this article we will focus on the Oval face type.
With eyebrow shaping we aim to create a balance in the features of the face. Thus we create the opposite effect of what the face naturally has.
If your face is oval-shaped, your eyebrows should have a moderate arch. The beginning and ending of the brow should be on the same level. If the arch is more pronounced then the face will appear elongated. Similarly if the eyebrow is straight then the face will appear rounder and fatter. The moderate arch counters and balances the features of the oval face. If the brow starting and ending are not on the same level then also we get an elongated look that detracts from the balance.
Priyanka Chopra has an oval face type and she adorns it with perfectly shaped eyebrows. Also the thickness of her eyebrows is just right to complement the big beautiful eyes and the less pronounced jaw lines.
